Firstly, I would help out by giving affordable, standard education (including social awareness etc) to every willing person in Myanmar. Once the human resource is developed well enough, there's not a lot of things that you need to help with a country.
If (Big If) I got the chance,
Step-1: We must know where are we now: i.e. collect true, unbiased country wide comprehensive economic and social statistics. Request int'l organizations for help in carrying out this task.
Step-2: Gathering of all the experts (worldwide) and stakeholders to brainstorms what should be the true model for the development of Myanmar. i.e. economic growth, economic and social development (p.s. growth is different from development in economic term)
Step-3: (Short-term)
a. Fulfil Millenium Development Goals
b. Substantial increase in education and health expenditure
c. Educate the public on civic moral and responsibility
d. Transparency in economic policy
e. Strong Macroeconomic Fundamentals by comprehensive econoimc reform
f. Increased spending on R&D
g. Send trainees abroad in mass
h. Tackling corruption and government efficiency
Step-4: (Medium-term)
a. Active participation at the international fora
b. Create strong social safety programme
c. Outsourcing of Myanmar cultural identity
d. Enhance productivity and international competitiveness
Step-5 (Long-term)
a. Create an economic and cultural hub in the region
b. Key political player in the region
တုိင္းျပည္တစ္ျပည္ရဲ႔ အနာဂတ္ဟာ ယေန႔ေခတ္လူငယ္ေတြ အေပၚမွာအမ်ားႀကီး မူတည္ေနပါတယ္။ လူငယ္လို႔ေျပာလိုက္တာနဲ႔ အမ်ိဳးသားမ်ားသာမဟုတ္ဘဲ အမ်ိဳးသမီးမ်ားလည္းပါ၀င္ပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မတို႔ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံမွာက အမ်ိဳးသမီးဦးေရက အမ်ိဳးသားဦးေရထက္ပိုမ်ားေလေတာ့ အမ်ိဳးသမီးမ်ားရဲ႔ အခန္းက ႑ကလည္း အေရးႀကီးပါတယ္။ တိုင္းျပည္တိုးတက္ဖြံံ႔ျဖိဳးဖို႔ဆိုတာ အမ်ိဳးသားမ်ား လုပ္အားနဲ႔တင္ မလံုေလာက္ေတာ့ပါဘူး။ အမ်ိဳးသမီးမ်ားပါအမ်ိဳးသားမ်ားႏွင့္ရင္ေဘာင္တန္းျပီး အမ်ိဳးသမီးလုပ္အားမ်ားလုပ္အားနဲ႔ပါ တိုင္းျပည္တည္ေထာင္ရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ စိတ္မေကာင္းစရာေကာင္းတာက ျမန္မာအမ်ိဳးသမီးမ်ားအတြက္ အလုပ္အကိုင္ေနရာ မ်ားမ်ားစားစားမရွိလွပါဘူး။ ဟိုအရင္တုန္းက အထည္ခ်ဳပ္စက္ရံုေတြမွာ အမ်ိဳးသမီးေတြအလုပ္အကိုင္းအဆင္ေျပခဲ့ႀကေပမယ့္ အေႀကာင္းအမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးေႀကာင့္ အထည္ခ်ဳပ္စက္ရံုေတြ၊ ႏိုင္ငံျခားရင္းႏွီးျမဳပ္ႏွံမႈေတြ ကၽြန္မတို႔တိုင္းျပည္မွာ တျဖည္းျဖည္းေလ်ာ့ပါးသြားတဲ့အခါမွာ အလုပ္လက္မဲ့ ျမန္မာအမ်ိဳးသမီးဦးေရ တစ္စစတိုးပြားလာပါတယ္။ သူတို႔ကိုမွီခိုမီွတည္ေနရတဲ့ မိသားစု၀င္ေတြအတြက္ ရရာအလုပ္ကိုရွာေဖြႀကရတာပါပဲ။ ကၽြန္မငယ္ငယ္တည္းက အဖြား ၊ အေမ တို႔ရဲ႔ ဆံုးမစကားမ်ားနဲ႔ႀကီးျပင္းလာခဲ့ရေတာ့ လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ ၂ႏွစ္ေလာက္ကအထိကို စင္တင္ေတးဂီတ လို႔ေခၚတဲ့ စားေသာက္ဆိုင္ေတြမွာ ညဘက္မွာ သီခ်င္းဆိုျပီး အသက္ေမြး၀မ္းေက်ာင္းတဲ့ မိန္းကေလးေတြကိုအင္မတန္စက္ဆုတ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ စင္ေပၚကေန ျမဴဆြယ္ေနတာလို႔ လည္းရင့္ရင့္သီးသီးေျပာခဲ့ဖူးပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မကအသက္သာႀကီးတယ္ ဘ၀နဲ႔ေလာကအေႀကာင္းကိုမသိေသးသူပါ။ အခုမွ သိေအာင္ႀကိဳးစားေလ့လာေနဆဲပါ။ အဲလိုသိေအာင္ေလ့လာတဲ့အခါက်မွ ကၽြန္မရဲ႔ဟိုအရင္က အျမင္ေတြ ၊ သေဘာထားေတြတစ္ခ်ိဳ႔ေျပာင္းလဲကုန္ပါတယ္။
အိမ္ေထာင္ရွိလ်က္နဲ႔ အမ်ိဳးသမီးတစ္ခ်ိဳ႔ဘာေႀကာင့္ ေႀကးစားအလုပ္ကိုလုပ္ႀကတာလဲ။ သူတို႔ အိမ္ေထာင္ဖက္ေတြကေရာ ဘာေႀကာင့္ အဲဒီ အလုပ္လုပ္ေနတာကိုခြင့္ျပဳရတာလဲ လို႔ ကၽြန္မက သူငယ္ခ်င္းတစ္ေယာက္ကိုေမးမိပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မက အင္မတန္စပ္စုသူပါ။ ကၽြန္မ သိခ်င္တာေတြ ၊ သိလိုတာေတြကို သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြကိုေမးေလ့ရွိလို႔ ကၽြန္မရဲ႕ တခ်ိဳ႔ေမးခြန္းေတြက ေျဖရခက္တယ္လို႔ သူတို႔ကေျပာႀကပါတယ္။ အမွန္အတိုင္း ေျပာရရင္ ကၽြန္မထင္ခဲ့တာေပ့ါေလ။ ေႀကးစားအလုပ္လုပ္ေနႀကတဲ့ မိန္းကေလးေတြက ၀ါသနာပါလို႔(ကၽြန္မ စကားလံုးေတြရိုင္းျပသြားတာ ခြင့္လႊတ္ပါရွင္) လို႔ပဲ ထင္ခဲ့တာ။
စား၀တ္ေနေရးဆိုတာကို ကၽြန္မ မသိခဲ့ဘူး။ ကၽြန္မရွင္သန္ေနခဲ့ရတဲ့အသိုင္းအ၀ိုင္းမွာ အဆင္ေျပေနေလေတာ့ ကၽြန္မက လူေတြအားလံုး အဆင္ေျပေနတယ္ပဲထင္ခဲ့မိတာ။
ကၽြန္မထင္ပါတယ္။ ဘယ္မိန္းကေလးမဆို မိန္းမေကာင္းဆိုတဲ့ နာမည္ေကာင္းေလးပဲ လိုခ်င္ႀကတာပါ။ မိန္းမေကာင္းေလးေတြျဖစ္ဖို႔ အခြင့္အလမ္းရွိမယ္ဆိုရင္ သူတို႔မိန္းမေကာင္းေလးေတြပဲျဖစ္ခ်င္ႀကမွာပါ။ မခ်စ္မႏွစ္သက္သူေတြရဲ႕ ရင္ခြင္မွာ သူတို႔ဘ၀ကို သူတို႔ စက္ဆုပ္ႀကမွာပါပဲ။ စိတ္ေ၀ဒနာလည္း အနည္းနဲ႔အမ်ားဆိုသလို ခံစားႀကရမွာပါပဲ။ ဟန္ေဆာင္အျပဳးေတြနဲ႔ လွေအာင္ျပံဳးေနရေပမယ့္ သူတို႔ရင္ထဲမွာ ဘယ္ေလာက္နာက်င္ေနမယ္ဆိုတာ ကၽြန္မ ခန္႔မွန္းမိပါတယ္။ အန္ဂ်ီအိုအဖြဲ႔အစည္း တစ္ခုမွာ အမ်ိဳးသမီးကယ္ဆယ္ေရး အလုပ္တာ၀န္ကို လုပ္ေနတဲ့ ကၽြန္မရဲ႕ သူငယ္ခ်င္းတစ္ေယာက္ကေျပာျပပါတယ္။ သူတို႔ေတြကိုကယ္တင္တဲ့အလုပ္ဟာ ထင္သေလာက္မလြယ္ပါဘူးတဲ့။ သူတို႔ဟာ လမ္းမွားကို မသိလို႔ေရာက္ရတာမ်ိဳး မဟုတ္ဘဲ သိသိလ်က္နဲ႔ လမ္းမွားေပၚေရာက္ေနႀကတာဆိုေတာ့ အမွားကိုသိမွ အမွန္ကိုျပင္ႏိုင္မွာ ။ အမွားကိုအမွားမွန္းသိလ်က္နဲ႔ မွားေနႀကရေတာ့လည္းေလ။

its quite challenging, but would be worth doing if we were given a total freedom to truly build our country from scratch.
may b,i should not say from scratch, because we are not gonna hav a clear new start. there are corruptions that needed to be made good.
I wouldnt go in so deep, but rather discuss it generally. The only thing that i am always sad about whenever i m bak home is to see or hear about people who are stepping over others head to actually make their living or success. Or people who are ok of being stepped on them to make their living.
Even though all the infrastructure of the country are being re-established properly, if the attitudes are still in a total mess, it would not make a big difference. But we would rather become like another rich prostitute country.
We came to overseas, we have experienced different people of different wealth n status, havnt we noticed that rich and developed people of the state could be so low in the act of dealing with another human of different status. Its not the matter of being developed, its about having a good citizens to make the country homey.
I am trying to make a point that, i would put the matter of corrupted attitude as the first priority if we were given another chance to have a fresh start.
But even if there is no chance or little chance, for now,to do what u really want to, start from the people that you are close to. Ask if they would " moe khar yae thaut ma lar?".
Let them know how much bad that could bring even from a small act of corruption.
When they are found of living in a luxury with all these black money, will they be happy to actually welcome a good leader, a true leader, who would bring down bad systems n bad guys?
its the matter of making it become a habit.
So lets dont wait for the dream chance proposed, lets act...start by calling your dad not to bet on EuroCap...cuz we will be helping out the lazy corrupted fake business man..(ball pwe dine)
by telling your mom not to buy lunch for the telephone guys who would cut your line when they dont want to pay for their lunch...
by telling the waiter from restaurant or massage room not to call you " sa yar "a million times n ask ur for tip...
by saying the kids from the street to get a job in a tea house instead of begging...
Up to my knowledge, these count and i would rather start from there....

ဥပမာ-ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ငယ္ငယ္က သင္ခဲ့ရတဲ့ ျမန္မာ့သမိုင္းဟာ ၁၉၆၂ မွာ ရပ္သြားပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ အခု ၂၀၀၇ ေရာက္ေနပါၿပီ။ ၁၉၆၂ကေန ၂၀၀၇အၾကားမွာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ သမိုင္းေတြ မ်က္လည့္ဆန္ဆန္ အေဖ်ာက္ခံထားလိုက္ရပါတယ္။
ကမၻာသမိုင္းကို ၾကည့္မယ္ဆိုရင္လည္း ဆို႐ွယ္လစ္စနစ္ေကာင္းေၾကာင္း၊ သမ၀ါယမစနစ္ေတြေကာင္းေၾကာင္း နားမဆံ့ေအာင္ ေလာင္းထည့္ခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။ ဘာလင္တံတိုင္းနဲ႔ အတူ ဆို႐ွယ္လစ္စနစ္ေတြ ၿပိဳက်ခဲ့ပါၿပီ။ ဘယ္မလဲ ဒီမိုကေနစီရဲ႕ အႏွစ္သာရ။ ဘယ္မလဲ အီရန္နဲ႔ ေျမာက္ကိုရီးယားရဲ႕ ႏူကလီးယားအႏၲရာယ္ေတြ။ ဘယ္မလဲ ကုလသမဂၢရဲ႕အတြင္းေရးမွဴးခ်ဳပ္ျဖစ္ခဲ့ဖူးတဲ့ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသား ဦးသန္႔အေၾကာင္း။

Stumbled upon "Than Lwin Ain Mat" and then this blog. The web site and the blog do stand out among the many made-by-myanmar web masters and bloggers including mine. So in turn, it attracts many quality readers and commentators.
I admire the web masters of TLAM and their IQ & EQ and as well as those of its readers.
First of all, Languages both English and Myanmar draw my attention. Wow! need and tidy. Secondly and particularly in this discussion, I dare say all are in-depth knowlegeable and know the subjects they are talking about well...(the posts that put up so far)...
A ha!..it make me wonder if I have the ability to take part in such a serious discussion..really...
But I am glad and proud of my fellow people and kudos to you guys...
And....to tell you my options and thoughts... along with progression in my career and knowledge, I always bookmark it like "ummm...How I wish I could apply this.... and that... in my country.." and the sorts like " If only given a chance how I could apply it in my country and we myanmar sure proper"..sincerely...but ( some would say no but..) till now..we are forced to be bystanders in nation-building.
We are not required in any rank and it is obvious. So dear comrades, let me fill up my hungered stomach and soul to be ready till the calling come...
I wouldn't say much now but when time is right for us to go home to contribute...I may not be the first but neither the last...

အထက္မွာေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့တဲ့သူေတြကို ေက်းဇူးတင္ပါတယ္။ စိတ္ကူးေကာင္းေကာင္းေလးေတြနဲ႔ ျဖဴစင္တဲ့ အေတြးေလးေတြပါ။ တိုင္းၿပည္ကိုခ်စ္တဲ့ လူငယ္ေတြ၊ ၿပည္သူေတြတိုင္းဟာ ခ်စ္ေသာၿမန္မာၿပည္ ပ်က္စီးေနတာကို ၿမင္ႏိုင္ရက္ၾကတာမဟုတ္ပါ။ အဘက္ဘက္က ယိုယြင္းပ်က္စီးေနတာေတြကို တတ္ႏိုင္သေလာက္ ၿပဳၿပင္ခ်င္ၾကတာပါပဲ။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ေဆြးေႏြးခ်က္ေတြ ႐ႈေထာင့္အမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးကၿဖစ္ေနေပမယ့္ တူညီေသာခံစားခ်က္ေတြနဲ႔ပါ။ အၿပဳသေဘာေဆာင္တဲ့ ေခါင္းစဥ္ေလးလဲၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။
ကိုခ်စ္၀င္းတင္ၿပထားတဲ့ စီမံကိန္းဆြဲေရးဟာ အရမ္းေကာင္းပါတယ္။ တကယ့္ၿဖစ္သင့္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ေတြအလုပ္လုပ္ဖို႔လိုပါတယ္။ အခုလက္႐ိွလည္း စီမံကိန္းေတြ႐ိွပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ စီမံကိန္းအဆင့္ကမတက္တဲ့ အထက္ကိုတင္ၿပရာမွပဲေအာင္ၿမင္တဲ့ စီမံကိန္းမ်ဳိးကမ်ားပါတယ္။ဒါဟာ တကယ္အလုပ္မလုပ္လို႔ပါ။ ႏိုင္ငံေရးဦးတည္ခ်က္၊ လူမႈေရးဦးတည္ခ်က္၊ စီးပြားေရးဦးတည္ခ်က္ စတဲ့ ဦးတည္ခ်က္ ၁၂ ခ်က္ကို တစ္ခ်က္ခ်င္း အေသအခ်ာဖတ္ၾကည့္ပါ။ အလြန္အဖိုးတန္ၿပီး အဓိပၸါယ္႐ိွပါတယ္။
ဒါေပမယ့္ အေၿပာေနာက္က အလုပ္မပါေတာ့ လူတကာ ေက်ာ္ဖတ္တဲ့ စာမ်က္ႏွာဘ၀ကို ေရာက္သြားရ႐ွာပါတယ္။ ၿမန္မာႏိုင္ငံဟာ အေၿပာပဲ႐ိွၿပီး အလုပ္မလုပ္သူ(လုပ္ဟန္ေဆာင္သူ)ေတြ လက္ထဲကို ဗိုလ္ခ်ဴပ္က်ဆံုးၿပီးအခ်ိန္ကတည္းက က်ေရာက္ခဲ့တာ ေၾကာင့္ အခုလိုအေၿခအေနနဲ႔ရင္ဆိုင္ရပါတယ္။ဒါေၾကာင့္ အဓိကက်တဲ့ ]အလုပ္လုပ္ၿခင္း}ကို ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕က်င့္သံုးရပါမယ္။ ေနာက္မ်ိဳးဆက္ေတြလည္း က်င့္သံုးႏိုင္ဖို႕ ၿပဳစုပ်ိဳေထာင္ေပးရပါမယ္။
လုပ္ခြင့္ေတြသာရမယ္ဆိုရင္ လုပ္ခ်င္တာေတြ လုပ္ရမွေတြအမ်ားၾကီးပါ။ အဲဒီထဲက (ကၽြန္ေတာ္အထင္ေပါ့ေလ) အဓိကအေရးၾကီးဆံုးႏွစ္ခ်က္ကို တင္ၿပပါရေစ။
၁။ အတန္းပညာေရး ႏွင့္ အသိပညာေရး
ညီညီရဲ႕ အဆိုက ပညာေရးျပဳျပင္ဖို႔ပါ။ ဒါဟာအဓိက အေရးပါတဲ့ အခ်က္ပါ။ ေက်ာင္းပညာေရးကို ျပဳျပင္ဖို႔အျပင္ အသိပညာရွိေရးကိုပါျပဳျပင္ဖို႔ လိုပါတယ္။ ေက်ာင္းပညာေရးရဲ႔ အဆင့္အတန္းကေတာ့ တစစနဲ႔ ထိုးက်ေနပါတယ္။ ဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းပညာေရးဆိုၿပီး ေက်ာင္းမတတ္ႏုိင္တဲ့ မိသားစုမွ ကေလးေတြကို ပညာသင္ၾကားအေထာက္အပံ့ေပးေနတဲ့ အဖဲြ႔အစည္းေတြေပၚလာတာကို ၾကည့္ရင္းနဲ႔ သိသာပါတယ္။ ပေဒသရာဇ္ေခတ္ ျမန္မာတႏုိင္ငံလံုး အဂၤလိပ္ေအာက္မက်ခင္က ဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းပညာေရးစနစ္နဲ႔ အခုဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းပညာေရးစနစ္က မတူပါဘူး။ ထိုေခတ္က ဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းထြက္မ်ားဟာ ရင္ေကာ့ၿပီးေလ်ွာက္၀ံ့ေပမယ့္ အခုေခတ္ကေလးမ်ားမွာေတာ့ မ်က္ႏွာေအာက္ခ်ထားရတဲ့အျဖစ္ပါ။ တကၠသိုလ္ပညာေရးစနစ္ရဲ႔ အဆင့္အတန္းဟာလည္း ထိုးက်ေနတာပါ။ အေရွ႔ေတာင္အာရွမွာ ေက်ာ္ၾကားခဲ့တဲ့ ရန္ကုန္တကၠသုိလ္နဲ႔ RIT ဟာ အခုေတာ့ ပံုျပင္ျဖစ္ေနပါၿပီ။

၂။ က်န္းမာေရး
အင္တာနက္တေနရာမွာ ျမန္မာျပည္ရဲ႕ HIV တိုးပြားႏႈန္းက ၁၀၀မွာ ၂ေယာက္ျဖစ္ေနၿပီတဲ့။ စဥ္းစားၾကည့္ပါ။ လူဦးေရသန္း၅၀မွာ ၁သိန္းရွိေနပါတယ္။ အဲဒါကို တိက်ေအာင္ လုပ္ယူရပါမယ္။ ပြင့္လင္းဖို႔လိုပါတယ္။ ျပည့္တန္ဆာလုပ္ငန္း နဲ႔ နာမည္ေက်ာ္တဲ့အိမ္နီးခ်င္းထိုင္းႏုိင္ငံမွာေတာင္ ရာခိုင္ႏႈန္းအဲေလာက္မ႐ွိပါဘူး။
ၿမန္မာၿပည္ရဲ႔ အဓိက HIV ကူးစက္ၿပန္႔ပြားေစၿခင္းႏွစ္ခ်က္႐ိွပါတယ္။ နံပါတ္ဖိုးထိုးၿခင္းနဲ႔ ၿပည့္တန္ဆာလုပ္ငန္းပါ။ ႏွစ္ခုလံုးဟာ ၿမန္မာၿပည္မွာ တရား၀င္အသံုးၿပဳခြင့္မ႐ိွပါဘူး။ ဒါေပမယ့္ HIV တိုးပြားႏႈန္းကို ၾကည့္လိုက္ရင္ တရား၀င္မ၀င္ဆိုတာ စာအုပ္ထဲမွာလားလို႔ပဲေမးရမလိုၿဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။
ျပည့္တန္ဆာေတြအတြက္ တရား၀င္ေနရာထားေပးသင့္ပါတယ္။ တရား၀င္ေနရာ ထားတဲ့အတြက္ ၿပန္႔က်ဲမေနဘဲ သူတို႔ကို ၃လတၾကိမ္ ၆လတၾကိမ္ ေဆးစစ္ယူဖို႔လြယ္ကူပါလိမ့္မယ္။ လူတိုင္းကိုလည္း ကာကြယ္သင့္တာကို ကာကြယ္တတ္ေအာင္ က်န္းမာေရးအသိေပးရပါမယ္။ မူးယစ္ေဆးကိုလည္း တင္းၾကပ္တဲ့စည္းကမ္းနဲ႔ ထိန္းခ်ဴပ္သင္႔ပါတယ္။ တစ္ႏွစ္တစ္ႏွစ္ မူးယစ္ေဆး မီး႐ိႈ႔ၿပပြဲဟာ တမင္လုပ္ေနတာလားလို႔

ဒါက HIV နဲ႔ပက္သတ္လို႕ေၿပာတာပါ။ အၿခားက်န္းမာေရးအတြက္ လိုအပ္တာေတြ႐ိွပါတယ္။ ေဆး႐ံုမွာ ေဆး၊ ေသြး ၊ အသံုးအေဆာင္ပစၥည္းေတြ မ႐ိွတာဟာ မၿဖစ္သင့္တာေတြပါ။ တကယ္ေတာ့ ပညာေရး၊ က်န္းမာေရး၊ စီးပြားေရး၊ လူမႈေရး အားလံုးဟာ ဆက္စပ္ေနတာပါ။ စီးပြားေရးအဆင္မေၿပေတာ့ ေက်ာင္းမတက္ႏိုင္၊ ေက်ာင္းမတက္ႏိုင္ေတာ ပညာမတတ္၊ ပညာမတတ္ေတာ့ အလုပ္အကိုင္မ႐ိွ၊ အလုပ္အကိုင္မ႐ိွေတာ့ ေငြလြယ္လြယ္ရမယ့္ ၿပည့္တန္ဆာ အလုပ္လုပ္ .. ေနာက္ေတာ့ ေရာဂါရ။ ဂ်ာေအးကိုသူအေမ႐ိုက္ပါေတာ့တယ္။

စာလံုးေပါင္းမွားသြားတယ္..internship ကိုဆိုလိုတာပါ။ အဲဒီလိုလုပ္ဖို႔အတြက္ မက္လံုးေလးေတြေတာ့ ရွာႀကံေပးႏိုင္မွ။ တိုင္းျပည္ခ်စ္တဲ့စိတ္ တခုတည္း အားကိုးေနရင္ ျပည္ပေရာက္ ျမန္မာေတြ၊ အထူးသျဖင့္ စီးပြားေရး သမားေတြကို လက္ယပ္ေခၚဖို႔ ခဲယဥ္းလိမ့္မယ္။ အခုေတာ့ ဘယ္လိုေတြျဖစ္ေနလဲမသိဘူး၊ က်ေနာ္ၾကားဖူး နားဝရွိသေလာက္ ျပည္ပကေန ျမန္မာျပည္ျပန္ၿပီး ရင္းႏွီးျမွပ္ႏွံတဲ့ (ေအာင္ျမင္တဲ့) ျမန္မာကုမၼဏီဆိုလို႔ Services International တခုပဲရွိတယ္၊ အခုမ်ားလာသလား၊ နည္းသြားသလား မသိေတာ့ဘူး။

ေဆြးေႏြးတဲ့အခ်က္ေတြအရမ္းေကာင္းပါတယ္။ ဘယ္လိုစိတ္ကူးေလးကေနၿပီး ဒီေခါင္းစဥ္ေလး ရလာတာကို ရွင္းၿပေပးႏိုင္မလားကိုသံလြင္တို႔ေရ။ ေက်းဇူးတင္ပါတယ္။
အေျခအေနအရပ္ရပ္ေၾကာင့္ ႏုိင္ငံအရပ္ရပ္ကိုေရာက္ေနၾကရတဲ့ ျမန္မာေတြ(အထူးသျဖင့္ လူငယ္ေတြ)မွာ သူတို႕ရ႕ဲ ႏုိင္ငံတကာကရလာတဲ့ အေတြ႕အႀကံဳေတြနဲ႕ အညီ ႏုိင္ငံနဲ႕ လူမ်ိဳးအတြက္ တစ္စံုတစ္ခုေသာ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ မ်ားစြာေသာ အႀကံေကာင္းညဏ္ေကာင္းေတြရွိေနလိမ့္မယ္လို႕ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕ယံုၾကည္မိပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ၿပီး ... ဒါေတြဟာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕ ရဲ႕ ႏုိင္ငံနဲ႕ လူမ်ိဳးအတြက္ အဖိုးမဖ်က္ႏုိင္ေလာက္ေအာင္ တန္ဖိုးရွိတယ္လို႕လဲ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕ ယူဆပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ သူတို႕ရဲ႕ အေတြးအေခၚေတြ၊ အျမင္ေတြ၊ idea ေတြကို ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕လည္း သိခ်င္ ၊ သိသင့္သိထိုက္သူေတြကိုလည္း သိေစခ်င္တာေၾကာင့္ အခုလို ဒီေခါင္းစဥ္ေလးကိုေရြးခ်ယ္ျဖစ္ခဲ့ၾကတာပါ။ ဒီေဆြးေႏြးခ်က္ေတြဟာ အခုအခ်ိန္မွာ စကားလံုးအျဖစ္ထက္ပိုလာဖို႕ သိပ္ေမွ်ာ္လင့္လို႕မရေပမယ့္ တစ္ေန႕ေန႕တစ္ခ်ိန္ခ်ိန္က်ရင္ေတာ့ အသံုး၀င္လာလိမ့္မယ္လို႕ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕ယံုၾကည္မိပါတယ္။

“If you were given a chance…”…that mean our future is in our own hands and for the better Myanmar…
Hence I presume all political, social securities are stable to a certain extent and we are to do our might for the nation and the people….
But beforehand, let me say I am neither a politician nor associate- in- kind of any organization. Just a plain Joe, speaking out as an individual what and how I feel that might help to rebuild once-upon-a-time-mighty Burma.
First thing first, we have to get the right people to do the right jobs without any sense of discrimination or so called equal-opportunity for the governing offices. Regardless of Race, Religion, Gender, Age and shall only be merit- based in governing organization.
Of course there are only so much we can do at one go. To reinstate the economy first, to get the constitutions right firs or to tackle corruption, to re-establish the Education and health-care mechanism first or perhaps infrastructure, we really need the right people to do the right jobs concurrently. Hence we need to prioritize and I am certain we have plenty of able and capable human resources.
It’s always sadden me to see how our neighbours are far richer and getting far ahead in every aspects despite having less oil and gas deposits, human capitals and natural resources. There is always no answer though we know the answer to the plain question “why?.. And Asia is the most happening in the world business arena and our neighbours are giving no chance to miss the opportunities.
Ok..say I am the man to take charge of rebuilding the nation.
FDI… FDI….welcome…FDI is Foreign Direct Investments (some readers may not know). Why the school teachers are not interested in teaching in their institutions but private tuition? Why traffic polices would let you drive recklessly and later let you go for a tea-money? I don’t think you need an answer from me. Simply there are many hungered ones waiting for them. To stop this, can we be just simply topping the civil servant’s wages up? We need to deal with it from the bottom up. Economy, inflation, deflation and hence the economists are needed. We need to create jobs for many educated youths. What industry do we have so far to employ all able tea lovers while our counterparts are crying for able and talented youth. So worrying that the governments are implementing many initiatives to ncourage young people to get married and concieve to counter greying workforce. We have plenty of them and we have to put them into good use.
With the help of ADB, World Bank and UN , we need to get external consultants to establish outdated practices in every aspect, to draw the specification and scopes of the Ministries and Inter-ministries departments.
We have 50 millions odd population and so to say reasonably attractive domestic consumers. Why China is so unwilling to forgo the relationship with the country that has a population less than a fraction of its own. There may be other strategic reasons but the obvious reason is a market of 50 million consumers. It keeps its land-locked province thriving with the whole Myanmar is absorbing all stuffs its factories churning out. Likewise Thailand and India, why we are so important to them? My point here is we have no less interested investors. With a proper rules and regulation with less red tape in place and throw in attractive tax breaks and incentives, no reason for them not to want to come in. Whenever I read in the papers that China Central Bank is loaded with US $ reserves in trillions I always felt that some of them should have been landed in Myanmar Central Bank if only we are more active than the present..
No denying fact that we are closed to China. So let’s look at them. China Political System itself sounds even more complex than ours. They are dealing with corruption. But hey take a closer look. People are getting more prosperous. And with so much money, its government is trying to rectify the system. Can’t we learn and apply them? We could even be better as we could analyze their mistake and avoid pitfalls before applying them. We would send the delegates to US, Japan, China, Singapore and all other country to get our future leaders exposures. Or there are many Myanmar Talents working abroad, I would bring them back with benefits-in-kind if they bring back their wealth and knowledge.
Well, as an average layman I think these facts are very fundamental and basics. So forget about the like of“this is impossible” ,“that is not achievable”. Let’s look at things positively and prepare for the one fine day….
We are given a chance…It’s in our hand… no one else… you are new breed.. we are the new breed of the cabinets and the people and the nation are in your hand… you are a new prime minister..what will you do? Forget about current situation and the past. Look forwards and take it as you are giving a raw land and develop it. Mould it as the way you like…

Well!!! Ko Nay Myo if I have to say something about the current Education System and have to rectify it.
I will not bother about the many mismatched private tuition teachers until I get the basic thing right first. I won’t do anything.
Think about it. In fact, we don’t even need a second thought why it is happening so. Whatever we are talking about and whatever we are going to talk about, be it corruption? Is it Education? Lackluster Economy? Anything you find or whatever you find not so right? The answer is no two but one. I will not say what that answer is as it is so very obvious.
So in my humble opinion, I still feel I should keep all these tuition teachers. At the very least they could keep on educating the very less fortunate majorities who have no mean to go abroad to further their knowledge. You know our people are hungered both in education and empty stomach. They may not be as qualified as we wish them to be. They may not be able to deliver as good as the Harvard’s graduates would but at least they keep our hungers youth in class from wandering around. Our youth needs them. We need them before we could get every thing right! We need them in order not to face a total breakdown in Education. Let’s not brood over how dangerous and how they are cashing on or else we could talk endlessly and nothing constructive would happen.
Why Arts graduate teaching Math? Physics Grad’s teaching English or Burmese?
You ask me. You ask any one my predecessors. Anyone you know that do they preach what they believe? Whoever went to medical college is interested in seeing patients or love medicine? Every Engineering Grad is passionate about the technology. Or simply put, does our system allow us to have the luxury of choosing the subject you love? So we produced so much mismatched grads and to think it lightly, a hae! We have to make good use of them and in a way we create jobs and bring down unemployment rate right… And that’s the reason; we are ever beating the more developed nations in terms of unemployment rate….
Your intention of setting up regulatory body to oversee this affair is very ideal and yes it is notable when we got all basic right. Just like what I say, again, in my earlier post we need to external consultants (MUST BE EXTERNAL) who has no interests in any ministries to re-establish all outdated policies and practices.
Lets think simple and within. Think about a family. If my dad is a drunkard and care nothing much to provide for the family what will happen? He spent most of his earnings on himself and living the life to his fullest. Say I am rather very intelligent but he wouldn’t bother whether I am intelligent or I want to go the university. I am needed to work to feed my hungry siblings and my ailing mum after my matriculation exam. With ever increasing basic commodities and living costs, it was never enough how hard I work. I got my history degree through distant learning. And I asked for coffee money in my office and at night working as study guide to juniors.
Tell me what is the morale of the story?
And my dad regrets it and realizes he got to do something. Stop spending lavishly on himself. No more mistress. He sent me to Harvard. I got MBA and become a CEO of an MNC. Now I don’t know what coffee money is and I do teaching part time as a business school mentoring junior business undergraduate…….( my dream)

I am one of GI who studied for many years in abroad. I'd many experiences in many remote area like Kachin & Chin States. It is not the main focus on Gov but for my people how to develop in such a remote area.
When I was in small town in Kachin, the students didn't know computer and I drew picture at that time. I felt so ashame of that and sad.
There is a will, there is a goal and god bless you all.

I like the topic and I think most of the peoples who are doing in politic havne't plan for that yet. I am always feel sad when I compare my country with others and always thinking about how to change my country as a develope country. I have been some developed country and meet many people from different countries. We have to accept one thing that Burma is really behind in global age. But the burmese peoples are not at behind and they don't have poor IQ. Alright, to change the burma as a develope country, first of all, we need to accept the truth. Now a day, the behavour of the most of burmese peoples are in really bad situation. People are saying they want democracy but most of the people inside burma don't really know what is it. Most of the peoples have been brain wash by stupid goverment. So first thing is to open the people's eye and make them to understand what is the human right, show them how to respect each others, tell them how to behave each other, let them know how to works as group work such as union, show them the way of their furture, ask them to find out what they want to be and let them to say openly, tell them to against the people who are not doing right things, train them how to familer with highest technology and let them know how the technology can change the life of theirs and ... So how can we do those things??? First,the media which must be in absolutely free for public. But we need to block some of them that against burmese culture such as media concern with porn. Media must get fully right and they can let public know the right information. It is not so hard to do that because we have a lot of basic resourse inside country such as a lot of journals and magazines. Just need the freedom. Another importent thing is the Law and Order. Law and Order must not under anyone and everybody must get right from that. Law and Order must control everythings. Sadly, we don't have the chance to set right law and order in burma until now and only few people know some basic law. Another thing to do is education which is the furture of the country. We should introduce the people with free education system, free style of teaching, help the student to find what is their interest and support them at that area, give them load of resources such as libaries and Labs, let them to do many researches in where they really interest and main thing is let them to believe that the education is for their furture. It is not really difficult to change the education in burma. There are a lots of burmese peoples who are teaching and stdying at many universities all over the world and there are many educated and experience peoples who are living inside burma and waiting for the chance to change the country. There might be some area left to change such as economic and public health. I think we have to do first for above three things. If we can change those three area efficienly, I am deeply believe that I can be so proud for my country among the other countries of all over the world.
I like the topic and I think most of the peoples who are doing in politic havne't plan for that yet. I am always feel sad when I compare my country with others and always thinking about how to change my country as a develope country. I have been some developed country and meet many people from different countries. We have to accept one thing that Burma is really behind in global age. But the burmese peoples are not at behind and they don't have poor IQ. Alright, to change the burma as a develope country, first of all, we need to accept the truth. Now a day, the behavour of the most of burmese peoples are in really bad situation. People are saying they want democracy but most of the people inside burma don't really know what is it. Most of the peoples have been brain wash by stupid goverment. So first thing is to open the people's eye and make them to understand what is the human right, show them how to respect each others, tell them how to behave each other, let them know how to works as group work such as union, show them the way of their furture, ask them to find out what they want to be and let them to say openly, tell them to against the people who are not doing right things, train them how to familer with highest technology and let them know how the technology can change the life of theirs and ... So how can we do those things??? First,the media which must be in absolutely free for public. But we need to block some of them that against burmese culture such as media concern with porn. Media must get fully right and they can let public know the right information. It is not so hard to do that because we have a lot of basic resourse inside country such as a lot of journals and magazines. Just need the freedom. Another importent thing is the Law and Order. Law and Order must not under anyone and everybody must get right from that. Law and Order must control everythings. Sadly, we don't have the chance to set right law and order in burma until now and only few people know some basic law. Another thing to do is education which is the furture of the country.
